Who we are
An AC, mechanical and duct company from Hollywood, Florida.
Torres Air Conditioning Mechanical and Duct is a South Florida company that works on air conditioning, ductwork, indoor air quality, heating and the mechanical systems around them. We are based in Hollywood and have served homes and businesses since 2022, across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties — from Miami up to West Palm Beach.
We work in English and Spanish. Whoever calls, writes on WhatsApp or meets us at the property can explain the problem in the language they are most comfortable with, and get the answer the same way.

How we work
Find the cause first. Explain it. Then do the work.
Every job starts the same way: you tell us what the system is doing. Warm air from the vents, water near the indoor unit, ice on the refrigerant lines, a breaker that trips, a room that never cools — the symptom tells us where to start looking, and a few details on the phone help us plan the visit.
At the property we test before we touch anything. That means readings at the outdoor unit and the indoor unit, a look at the electrical parts that fail in Florida heat, the drain line, the filter and the coil, and — when airflow is the complaint — the ducts and the return path. The aim is to find the part or the condition that is actually causing the problem.
Then we explain what we found, in plain words, before any work starts. If there is more than one way to fix it, you hear the options and what each one involves. You decide; we do the work and leave the area clean.
When a system is old or failing in more than one place, the conversation turns to replacement. We size a new system with a load calculation instead of copying the old unit, check that the ductwork can carry the air the new equipment needs, and explain the financing available for new systems.
What we work on
Four kinds of work, one company.
Air conditioning. AC repair, installation and replacement, maintenance and tune-ups, ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, smart thermostats and the parts in between: refrigerant leaks, compressors and condensers, drain lines.
Ducts and indoor air. Duct work of every kind — new ductwork, repair and sealing, duct cleaning — plus air quality testing, whole-home filtration, UV lights and dehumidifiers for the damp months.
Mechanical and heating. Heating repair, installation and maintenance, furnaces and boilers, ventilation and water heaters. South Florida heats with electricity in most homes, so heat pumps and heat strips are a big part of this work.
Commercial HVAC. Rooftop units, commercial AC repair and installation, air quality in offices and restaurants, and walk-in coolers for restaurants, shops, offices and warehouses.

Brands and equipment
Every brand sold in the U.S. No favorites.
We work on all the AC and heating brands sold in the U.S. market. We are not tied to one manufacturer, so a recommendation is about what fits your home or business: its size, its ducts, how the rooms are used and how much humidity the system has to handle.
That matters most when a system is being replaced. The right equipment is the one sized for the building and matched to the ductwork it will push air through, not the one that happens to be on a shelf.

From Miami to West Palm Beach.
We cover 105 cities and communities in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, and every one of them has its own page on this site with the services we offer there. Our address is 5670 Fletcher St, Hollywood; there is no walk-in service at the address — we come to you.
Regular hours are Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Outside those hours we take emergency calls: weekday evenings until 10:00 PM, Saturdays until 8:00 PM and Sundays until 6:00 PM.
